Italianate Designed Houses

Hi everyone,

Sadly for us,  Meg has moved on to an administrative role at Coldwell Banker Realty after working in sales since 1987.  We have been working together for 22 years and I will miss her expertise, insight and guidance in real estate.  I know she will miss you all.  Meanwhile I will try to continue her Blog on Antique houses

Today I will pass along some information on Italianate Designed Houses, built primarily from 1840 to 1885.  Usually these houses were 2-3 stories,  had low pitched roofs with over hanging eave with decorative supportive brackets,  windows with elaborated crowns and often square cupolas or towers.
